This Lake View cottage is located on Sky Lake and is 2.5 hrs from Toronto. This property continues to offer a quiet and quaint Family retreat for those who appreciate a natural environment with a rustic atmosphere. Sky Lake is the feeder lake for the River system that connects near-by Isaac Lake with Boat Lake and offers superb kayaking, canoeing, nature watching and, of course, fishing. This location is also a favorite destination for hikers who wish to challenge the famous Bruce Hiking Trail.

The Bruce Peninsula Region is a popular destination for those Northern Ontario Travelers. Centrally situated between 5 lakes, this cottage offers spacious 4 large bedrooms, ( sleeps 10 ) two large living spaces and a fully equipment Kitchen. The Chalet comes with a Wood burning fireplace, plenty of parking, BBQ and outdoor fire area. We provide you with a Guild book for free local things to do and see. Daily excursions such as the fairy ride you would have to pay for, but there is lots do for free in the wonderful Bruce Peninsula Region. Fishing, Lake Skating, Canoeing, Bird Watching, and Hunting. Sky lake is a clean, freshwater lake that has excellent fishing for Bass, Perch, Pickeral, Pike. We have a boat launch on the property free to use for our guest. *Welcome to Sky Lake Resort* As you enter the Property the Lakehouse Chalet is situated on the right side and as you drive along the lake you will see you cabins by the lake. For small or large gatherings we are ready to host you and your party. Our waterfront cabins are situated comfortably along Sky Lake. Onsite we have fireplace, Private BBQ and deck for your enjoyment. This is a private property with Private Lake and access to water right at your doorsteps. Prepare Meals and build memories with your own open concept kitchen, with the view of the lake. Prepare meal easily with a fully equipped kitchen that contains all the essentials, including microwave, and stove / oven. Two Large living space and Dining room area, smart TV with Wifi. Please take time to read the Bedding and sleeping arrangement details that way you can better plan your sleeping and bringing your own bed sheets. Sky Lake Resort is only minutes from easy access to the Bruce Trail for excellent summer hiking. The Bruce Trail is the oldest marked hiking trail in Canada and is over 845 kilometers long. As part of the Niagara Escarpment, it was declared a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 1990. Also nearby are the world famous beaches at Sauble and Red Bay, the historic Lighthouses along the shores of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay as well as excellent summer cycling routes. There is also plenty of peace and quiet for those who just want to relax and enjoy nature. Sky Lake Resort was established as a hunting/fishing and family fun space, sometime during the 1950's. Many of our loyal repeat guests still recall their childhood memories of good times at our establishment and now continue this tradition with their children and grandchildren.

This private cottage has access to the water, with a large back yard for your entertainment night fires. Enjoy the starlight in the back yard while you BBQ and make fire with your family. The public washrooms are located under the large cottage accessed from outside only used for other guests. You will have to yourself two levels private, spacious 2000sqf Plus a Private Deck with patio seating for 6 and a Front and back yard to your self.
